Several volunteer workers have teamed up with the leadership of the church in it's pursuit of its god-given vision and mandate. These have various responsibilities within the house of God.
The bible encourages every believer to “study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”
(II Tim. 2:15). Members of this department are saddled with the responsibility of teaching the infallible and unadulterated Word of God to the Church through in-depth Sunday school sessions,
bible studies and sermons. This we do because, we believe every child of the God is born of the incorruptible seed of the Wordof God (John 1:12-13, 1Pet. 1:23) and as such, must continue to feed on the word to grow thereby (1 Peter
2:2), until we all attain the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, unto maturity to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
(Ephesians 4:13), where we would not be tossed to and fro by any wind of doctrine in this modern world of high technological advancement and strange
religions.
The intercessory unit constantly communicates and petitions God on behalf of the pastorate and entire brethren within the church. They lead DRM in making supplication to God for the church, community, country and the world at large. They lead such events as the DRM intercessory prayer sessions, vigils, prayer chain, as well as fasting sessions.
The Evangelism Team leads DRM in its vision to spread the gospel within our communities and beyond. This department helps us fulfill the Lord's commandment in Luke 9:2 and Matt 28:19. They work alongside the Intercessory department to offer prayers to God about critical social issues. In addition to the above, they ensure that church leaflets, literature and tracts are available for distribution at all times. They are always seeking ways to improve our evangelistic efforts and ensuring that DRM remains relevant to the local community.
